Quantity Surveyor/ Assistant Estimator.

Criteria;

Reporting directly to the senior estimator you will have responsibility for pricing a variety of schemes ranging from soft landscaping to groundworks, managing costs of ongoing projects and procurement responsibilities alongside the management of an assigned number of contracts.

Knowledge and Experience:

3 years experience working in a similar role ideally with a focus on landscaping.

• Pricing and preparation of company variation quotations as required.

• Procurement of all materials to meet demands of production and budgets set

• Investigating costs savings and proposing new deals to the directors.

• Tender preparation (Taking off from drawing , providing quantities, specification details and material prices).

• Final Account Preparation

• Cost comparisons and Project costing

• Sales Follow up of tenders to obtain feedback

• Ensure budgets are achieved.

• Implement new business systems and identify expansion areas.

• To check, verify and sign off in the first instance all invoices relative to the procurement

• Fuel and Vehicle Tracker monitoring and reporting

• Provide reports as required to the management team

• Must be proficient in MS Excel (Sage or Coins SME experience desirable).
